DGM HQ.

Fairly soon into my waking day, an approach to editing & preparing the recent Soundscapes flew by.

10.57 The Morning Shift is underway with Somerville Soundscapes.

12.38 We are now at Toad's in New Haven.

13.03 Listening to several of the diatonic pieces: affirmations, sonic pleromas, expressions of joy. If this area were all that anyone heard of Soundscapes, they might conclude that Chuckles Fripp was one happy & very up guy. If they listened to a complete performance, visiting various moods & reflections & commentaries & subjects of interest, they might come to a broader conclusion/

14.25 We are now at the Fillmore in San Francisco.

14.31 House of Blues, San Diego.

15.04 Stephen's Talkhouse, Amagansett. Two seacapes, both more a support for quietude than a bold affirmation of hope or a triumph of the spirit.

16.06 While the Soundscapes listening-album is burning, we're on to a through-listen of Crim: Studio Werning 1981-1984 which has just arrived back from Simon Heyworth on Dartmoor.

16.21 E-mails are arriving with reports on the new DGM website. The launch has been delayed for two main reasons: the site-under-construction was hacked & required almost complete re-structuring; RK Carruthers Esq. & Classic Rock Productions drew much of our attention from creative concerns.

Meanwhile, Crim is burning along on the Discipline material.

17.25 CD5 is a beast on the end of CD1. A wonderful listenthrough. Now off to Bredonborough with a draft Soundscapes album for the drive.
